We believe in being authentic, innovative, and expressive. Musical director, Jason Martin Castillo began this orchestra to promote new music to existing and new audiences of the art. We believe a musical ensemble should be engaging and make sense to people.
We imagine a 21st century world that is ready for new music. To hear harmonies, textures, and musical colors in a style that are new but relatable.

Our musicians come from all backgrounds. Some studied at conservatories and some jazz improvisation. We believe having a diverse group of musicians is essential to modern music. They are treated like artists; to have their own voice. What is written in the sheet music may be played slightly different each performance. To us, this makes music exciting.
MUSICAL DIRECTOR: JASON MARTIN CASTILLO
A believer in art and human stories, Jason Martin Castillo believes we should express ourselves uniquely as did the great artists of yesterday.
"Every artist we look up to got to where they are by being themselves. As composers, we must challenge art if we wish to progress by saying how we think human emotions should 'sound' like."
